About Our Classes

We've got great classes and events, but first please read these answers to our
Frequently Asked Questions. 

1. If you have questions that are not answered in the descriptions, please email us at hipstitchabq@gmail.com or call: (505) 821-2739.
2. If you already know how to sew, scroll through our classes and events below and just pick the one (or two) that seems like a fit for you. 
3. If you have never sewn (or have forgotten just about everything), we suggest that you sign up for the Hip Stitch Beginning Basics Sewing Class. We cap it at 4 students, so you'll get plenty of instructor attention. If you have a sewing machine--bring it. Otherwise, let us know that you want to borrow one of ours when you purchase the class. 
4. Please note, we frequently take pictures of our classes to share the excitement on social media. If you are taking a class with us and don't want to be in a picture, please stand aside and let the photographer know. 
5. Note: if you're bringing your own machine, we ask that you make sure it's in good, working condition.  
6. Cancellation policy:  We understand that LIFE HAPPENS - we all have committed to something (like a class) and then a conflict comes up.  We'll try our best to be understanding and fair, but here are some rules so the fairness is applied to you AND the teacher/Hip Stitch:   If you cancel at least 2 weeks (14 days)  before the class, we'll issue you a full refund; this gives us ample time to advertise and fill your spot in the class. If you cancel 4-13 days before the class, we'll issue you credit to spend at the store, on another class or products.  If you cancel 3 days or less before the class, chances are slim your spot can be filled, so we cannot offer you a refund or store credit.  Your teacher has already prepared for you. (Here's food for thought:  send a friend in your place so you don't lose out on that class $!)
7. There are NO refunds or store credit given at any time for classes with out of town instructors or special guest instructors. Your seat, however,  may be transferred to a friend if you cannot attend.
