Tuesdays with Reut: Dyeing! Low Water Immersion

Low water Immersion dyeing is also known as the "Scrunch Method". In this method, one uses as little water as possible, scrunching the fabric together to create bursts of colors.  With the Tray Method you will get a smooth transition from one color to another with a variety of color value. You will walk out of the class with 12 amazingly beautiful fat quarters.

Class fee includes dyes and tools.

You bring:

3 yards of PFD cotton cut into fat quarters (available for class participants at Hip Stitch at 15% discount)
10 plastic containers (we suggest 24-30 ounce, stackable, plastic containers--come into the store and see what we suggest).
4 oz of Synthrapol

Materials Included: Cost includes dye. 15% discount on PFD cotton purchased at Hip Stitch for class.
Requirements: Email if you have questions about this class and please make sure that you have read the About Our Classes section on our website at
