Beginning Knitting - Straight Needle OR Circular/In the Round

Learn how to knit, cast on, and bind off on either straight or circular needles. We will work our way through two projects that are designed to build skills. Work at your own pace through the four-week class and receive help mid-week if needed. Knitted before, but need a refresher? Join us! Class price includes eight hours of instruction, mid-week help sessions, yarn and two of Jen's patterns! Make a key-hole scarf, infant hat, a small cowl, or an adult beanie. 

Materials needed: Size 10 straight needles or  7, 16” & 24" circular needles and Stitch Markers.

Instructor: Jennifer Berg
Instructor Bio: Jennifer Berg, aka Native Knitter. dove into the design world this past summer with a full force attitude and the community has been amazingly welcoming. She wants to bring Native American design into the Knitting Community and represent her people (Dine) with enthusiasm and inclusion. She wants to share her culture and encourage others to learn more about the Native people that live in the surrounding areas. She loves being Navajo and believe that this movement for inclusion of all Races, genders, and ethnicities in the knitting community is important and such an example to the rest of the world that people can and will fight for one another with Love.
