Jennifer Berg says "In this class we will be covering the basics of knitting, including the basic knit stitch as well as a purl stitch. We will make two projects beginning with a baby/ toddler hat. Next you'll then move onto an adult scarf that has a bit more of a challenge. By the end of the 3 weeks, you will have the confidence to knit a few items and I'm sure you'll start to love knitting just as much as I do!"
Upon sign up you'll receive a materials list; kits will be for sale at Hip Stitch as well.
Jennifer Berg, aka Native Knitter. dove into the design world this past summer with a full force attitude and the community has been amazingly welcoming. She wants to bring Native American design into the Knitting Community and represent her people (Dine) with enthusiasm and inclusion. She wants to share her culture and encourage others to learn more about the Native people that live in the surrounding areas. She loves being Navajo and believe that this movement for inclusion of all Races, genders, and ethnicities in the knitting community is important and such an example to the rest of the world that people can and will fight for one another with Love.
