Introducing a new two-part Learn to Sew Class! On Day #1 we will learn and practice basic skills with your own sewing machine or you can use one of ours. You will also learn how to read and use a commercial pattern. Class #2 will involve putting your new knowledge to practical use by making a simple tote bag. I know, I know, nothing ?sexy? about making a tote, but skills learned in this class will lay the groundwork for jumping off on your own personal sewing adventures. Come play, let?s do fun stuff and get you started on your creative journey. Students will get a 15 percent in-store discount on class tote bag fabric and other supplies and notions for class. Required fabric: 1/2 yd.
This is where it all begins...

A self-taught Sewist of all things for over 50 years, lovingly referred to as a Sewciopath by her family. (Gets the shakes when her machine is in the shop!) Ann has a wide ranging and checkered past. As she and her family have moved around the country, some of her experiences have been as a professional calligrapher, symphony concert manager, buyer/manager of a university museum shop, jewelry designer, and a mom of marvelous boys. Come play and let's make things!
