Fearless Firsts: Making a Quilt from Start to Finish with Hip Stitch!

Ready to create your first quilt? Join Hip Stitch for a gentle introduction to the process that has captivated countless crafters. Yellow Brick Road is a very approachable pattern that is designed using fat quarters, making fabric selection as simple as reaching for a fat-quarter bundle or as custom as you like, with or without help from the fabric-selection divas at Hip Stitch! We think Yellow Brick Road is a perfect pattern to dip your toes into the endlessly entertaining skill of piecing. In Session One Suzanne will give you the support you will need to accurately cut and sew the pieces for your quilt top, integrating the best of old and new techniques to guide you toward a quilt top of which you can be proud. Session Two will focus on transforming that top into a finished quilt, with instruction in how to make a quilt sandwich on a table top and preparing to quilt your sandwich on your domestic machine. Session Three (our final meeting) will focus on taking that quilted sandwich and transforming it into an finished quilt with binding.
