Charity Sewing: Bags for AsUR

AsUR serves women on the street, including those who have been victims of sex trafficking and have struggled with homelessness, substance use and mental health issues.

Hip Stitch is happy to form this group to make small zippered bags for the volunteers of AsUR to hand out to women, filled with some essentials to help them with personal hygiene, such as pads, tampons, toothbrushes, undies and more.

At this time, we do NOT need any fabric donations - just volunteers to sew small zippered bags. Not sure how to sew in a zipper? We'll show you how!

We meet monthly on the 2nd Sunday from 1-3 to sew. Won't you join us?
