Beginning Machine Applique - Blanket Stitch
The blanket stitch gives a different, open look to applique. Learn how to set up the design and sew it out. The result is a small table topper or trivet.
Materials required:
Sewing machine with an embroidery foot, open toe preferred (presser feet for embroidery have a groove on the underside that extends the length of the presser foot, not partial)
Topstitch needle size 80 or embroidery needle size 90
Glide thread for appliques
