Craftivism Makers' Lab

Join our Craftivism Makers’ Lab: A creative, community-powered sewing and maker's group that channels art into action. Using only ReCreate fabric and upcycled materials, we’ll turn scraps and statements into powerful pieces with purpose.
Fall 2026 brings some special guest speakers:
September 8: Adrien Lawyer with the TGRCNM will present about Transgender Cultural Fluency at 5:30
Oct. 13: Alicia Rodriguez with the ABQ Center for Peace and Justice will present at 5:30.

| Skill Details: | This makers' lab is designed for advanced beginner to intermediate sewists. Participants should be familiar with operating a sewing machine, feel confident in their sewing abilities, and be able to work independently, as this is not a structured class with individual instruction. |
