Haute Tote
This is the blueprint tote bag to get you started on your journey of bag making. The Haute Tote is Suzanne's creation. You'll make a roomy tote bag, learning how to box corners, add pockets, and assembly, which ends with a 'birth'! (the bag, of course.)
All materials are included in this class.
To start the class we'll choose fabrics, then move on to the making journey!
Although this class is for a beginner, basic sewing machine knowledge is REQUIRED: how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, and most importantly, how to USE/SEW with your machine.

| Instructor Bio: | Suzanne is the owner of Hip Stitch and teaching is her love - long before Hip Stitch, she was a special education teacher in middle and elementary school. Patience is her best trait! She learned to sew at age 12 and picked it up again in college and it's been a main character in her life for 35+ years. Owning Hip Stitch and teaching are the passions in her professional life. Her husband Dan and daughters Jane and Claire are the passions in her personal life. (the girls grew up sewing - what could be better in a childhood?) |
