Clamshells Quilt
Learn to piece curved seams with confidence. They're not hard, just different!
Required Supplies:
- Fabric markers with a fine point (such as a micron)
- Tweezers
- Rotary cutter
- A rotating cutting mat (optional) or a small cutting mat, larger than 14" square
- Fabrics: amounts will vary with the size of quilt you choose. Suggested amounts of fabric for the different sizes are included in the pattern. Do not use 1/4 yard straight cuts. (They're not wide enough.) Have a minimum of ten fabrics (more than that is recommended). Scraps should be 13" square minimum
- Thread to blend with fabrics
- Sewing machine with a 1/4" presser foot
- Straight pins
- Glue stick
