Echinacea Quilt
Echinacea Quilt is simple applique. There are two block sizes available and multiple layout sizes to choose. Applique teaches you to choose prints in a different way.
First session will decide the size of the blocks, and a layout size.
This will determine how many and how large fabric choices need to be.

Template Plastic
Permanent Maker (thin tip)
Fabric Makers
Rotary Cutter
Fabric Glue stick
Straight pins
Sewing Machine with an open toe embroidery foot (not a free motion foot)
Threads - Lots of beautiful threads
Top stitch needle - Size 80/12
Fabric and paper scissors
1/2 yard paper backed fusible web (heat 'n bond lite, wonder under)
Fabrics - Will be determined in the first class

| Skill Details: | Students should be comfortable using a sewing machine: threading, winding a bobbin, some sewing experience on it, selecting different stitches. |
