While the species cannabiciae has been around for nearly 50 million years, it was first cultivated as C. Sativa and C. Indica in the Stone Age. You can create your own joke about that.

We’ve taken vintage botanical prints of the plant we know, unburdened by legal or moral judgements and present them here as a collage of only scientific interest. The yellowing of the pages denotes the long history of human knowledge of one of nature’s creatures, with many of the prints dating to the 1800s or earlier.
