River Goddesses is a series of 3 prints representing the feminine spirit of water, the earth gift that has been blessed, used, abused and renewed.
The Sacred Ganges depicts boats of women rowing out to place float candles on the river.
Binah Waite-Williams is a contemporary, intuitive nomad fiber artist and painter interested in color, texture design and incorporating various world cultural influences in her work. She has a fascination with repetitive patterns in life and culture and this is interpreted in symbolic art that relays story. She lives in Albuquerque with her husband Gordon, who himself is a designer, sculptor and builder.
