Cindy Bruner began taking quilt classes 30 years ago, igniting a passion for quilting and quilting arts.  After retiring as a public school teacher, Cindy quickly implemented her “retirement plan” to quilt (even more!), work in a quilt shop and teach quilting classes. She is a certified Quilt in a Day instructor, has had a quilt pattern published in Quilt Sampler magazine and developed the Jerry’s Jelly Roll Jig — a tool to streamline construction of Jelly Roll Rug-type projects. The Jig is now carried in many shops worldwide!

Cindy has taught hundreds of students, both new and experienced, in machine embroidery, quilting, and jelly roll rugs and bowls. Nothing gives her greater pleasure than sharing her passion with others!

I took Cindy's Camden Bag video class at a virtual retreat.  Her straightforward teaching style is easy to understand and follow.  She goes through the entire construction process step by step, with convenient places to stop the video and sew.  The video answered all my questions and really helped me to see how to pin and attach the bottom.  I appreciate Cindy's focus on making the process easier, eliminating unnecessary steps, and getting it done.  I love my finished bag!

I have taken several classes from Cindy and look forward to more!
