Pre-printed Sakizome Sashiko Mending Patches OL100-D

Olympus Japan created this pre-printed fabric to be used as patches for clothing but it would also be beautiful for use in smaller quilting, home accessory or sewing projects.

This is a new, high quality, cotton fabric that has pre-printed Sashiko designs. It is created in Japan and is a deep navy or indigo, denim look color. Sakizomemomen is a 100% cotton, yarn dyed fabric. Yarn dyed fabrics are created from yarn that is dyed BEFORE weaving it into fabric. Due to this, the fabric has a wonderful variegation and depth of color. This cut of fabric is about 8 inches x 39.5 inches (20 cm x 100 cm) in size and contains 6, preprinted Sashiko designs that are about 4.75 x 6.5 inches (12 x 16.5 cm) in size. Designs will fade gradually after washing.
